I decided to make lunch for all the workers for Mother's Day. We had chicken pillows, orange jello salad, green salad, and of course Ana Maria had to make rice for all of them! We had the tables draped with green and blue table clothes with bouquet of flowers. Katie made some awesome sugar cookies decorated with a yellow and white stripes glaze. They were so good! We were too busy cooking to even think about taking pictures! Afterwards I gave a little speech, Katie had to translate, and then gave each of them a little bouquet of flowers with cards the children had colored for them. The tias work so hard every single day that it's nice to be able to do something for them. So many of them have become my friends, sisters, and even mama's! They have a special place in my heart for sure! Thank you for being apart of my life and being so good to me, especially when I can't speak Spanish! Te quiero mucho!!
Just me in a taxi with a garbage bag full of flowers!
Flowers for all my madres Latinas!

We were laughing at how "grande" I am, so I decided to sit down to make it better...
Nope! Still taller than them even sitting down!
The cute card Dayana colored!
The children passed these out to all the women. Cosme gave me mine!
"You are the hand holding me, the light lighting my path, the sun that warms my soul, and the star who watches me dream. Happy Day!"
